I had it again today for lunch... the Grilled Prawns, Roasted Corn and Black Bean Salad. One of my favorite lunches in Kent. The bakery display tempts you with fresh baked breads, cookies, cakes and pies. Today they had probably the finest looking Pecan Pie I've ever seen. They also offer those espressos, capuccinos, lattes and mochas.
For breakfast or lunch in Kent Wild Wheat is a very good choice. It is located in downtown Kent at 202 1st Ave. South, between Meeker and Gowe streets. ( about 1.5 miles from Plaza by the Green)
This is a busy place at the lunch hour and the team keeps up pretty well. Only once has it been so busy that the service suffered.
